— Getting ready for New Year's Eve is always exciting! We rush to the grocery store to buy food for a big feast. We also bought special fruits, like grapes and round fruits, for good luck. Our family got together to plan what to cook and who will help. The kitchen gets busy as everyone works together to make delicious food.
As the time gets closer to midnight, everyone gets more and more excited. My younger brother, David was excited for the fireworks to start. The city lights up with colorful lights, and everyone is happy and ready to celebrate the new year.
